Tip #100. Shake it up! Do ten jumping jacks and stop a minute. Then do ten more. If you’re at home, stand up and do them now. If you’re at work, go to the rest room; lock the door and do them. Even if you have on you sensible business heels. (If you have on stilettos, take them off!) Just get your body moving and your blood racing around a little. Shrug and roll your shoulders. Swing your arms around. Do circles with your head. Shake your arms and legs out like an athlete. You’ve got this amazing body and you need your amazing body to do amazing things. You are an unquenchable spirit, but you can’t do anything without your body taking action. You can think great things, but you can’t change your life without doing something with your arms and legs or with your lips or with your hands and fingers. Even a paraplegic can turn positive thoughts into some kind of action. Today, use your body. Think of all the good things you can do with your body. Your midlife divorce can paralyze your thinking. Your midlife divorce can make your bright spirit disappear in lethargy and laziness. Don’t let it. Use this phenomenal body you have to do something positive today. Smile! Wave at someone! Hug somebody! Cook something yummy! Your spirit needs your body to help it shine, so do something to shine today! Shake it out and shake it up! A great day is waiting!
