101 Ways to Move Forward After A Midlife Divorce

Hey R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Women ... I will be out of town until Monday, September 29 and will be unable to update the blog until then. Sorry about the inconvenience. Just try picking a few blogs from the list on the left and re-read a few. Thanks for understanding. Suzy P.S. Just a note: Anyone who has been to a previous bootcamp can take $25 off because you already have the books. And RadicalWomenNetwork members get a 15% discount. I'll be back Monday!

Tip # 72. Invest in yourself.
Women sometimes have a hard time doing this. We invest in everyone else first. Often we don’t care for ourselves as well as we care for others. But right now, in recovery after a midlife divorce, investing in yourself is a MUST! You must invest in your physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being. Investing in yourself doesn’t mean spending a huge amount of money on frivolous things. It does mean making choices to spend on getting better in those areas of recovery. You can spend weeks and months and even years struggling along on your own when, if you would get the resources you need, it would save you untold hours of pain. Spending on something to help you move forward is worth any sacrifice to make that happen. Spending on advice from a financial advisor who specializes in divorce can save you thousands of dollars in real money. Spending on advice about how to start the process of getting back to work can mean a new job. Spending on advice about how to communicate more effectively can help in every area of your life.

I’m hosting a Midlife Divorce Recovery Bootcamp on October 11, 2008 in Kansas City. I already have someone signed up from as far away as Pennsylvania. She is investing in her own brighter future. You can, too. Go to www.midlifedivorcerecovery.com to find out the details. Copy and paste or click on this link below:
