R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts

"We're trying to keep the world a safer place, and I think that's what superheroes do."
Victoria Pratt

Superheroes are everywhere these days! One of my grandsons just turned three and we opened presents and had cake last night. His two favorite toys seem to be a real-looking triceratops that clomps around making triceratops noises and knocking down everything in his path and a super hero in white. My grandson has had the triceratops wreaking havoc since he got it with the superhero trying to save everyone and everything from the destruction of "Trample." Even Thomas the Train has been attacked. My daughter is 35 and she still loves Wonderwoman ... she has a Wonderwoman mug, a Wonderwoman ornament, etc. We all need super heroes. Whose super hero are you? Most likely it will be your children, someone in your extended family, your neighbor or your friend. What kind of special powers do you have? Patience? Kindness? Understanding? Good Humor? Confidence? Faith? When you are faced with evil forces how do you react? When your world is being attacked by the forces of darkeness and wrong, how do you respond? Put on your super-outfit! Take advantage of all your super powers! We've all got them .... let's use them. Someone is watching and expecting us to make their world a better place. Don't disappoint them!

"So chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. ... and regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all -purpose garment. Never be without it."
Colossians 3:12-14
