R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts

"Who is your best self? Now, answer again. If you said, 'kind, funny, fair,' add the words ... 'rare and lucky.' Keep adding to your list."
SARK, author, artist, incest survivor

During a divorce that happens in the middle of our life, sometimes we forget our best self. We are so inundated with negative messages that we don't recognize our real self. We erroneously think we don't have a best self. We at first feel worthless and hopeless and fearful and incompetent. But those words don't describe who we REALLY are. Each one of us is a woman with the living and breathing Spirit of God in us. Considering that fact, let's think again about our best self. List some of your best qualities. We are each unique, strong, loving, generous, friendly, good women who could make a list a mile long of the amazingly wonderful things we are. Today, let's get a piece of paper, or use our daily planner or even open a new document on our computer and start a list of the amazing things we are. Name it WONDERFUL ME! Start with some of the words above. Each one of us is made in the image of God with God's Spirit in us. Now try again to make a list of who you REALLY are.

"Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them --- living and breathing God!"
Romans 8:5b (The Message)
