R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts
I am visiting my Mom and Dad who are 87 and 88 and I am trying to enter this blog from my brother's computer. It took me longer than I wanted to get onto my blog. I also need to get back to my parent's house. So for today, I am just going to write some words written by the Apostle Paul to a group of Christians meeting at Phillippi.A man read the whole letter from Paul to a group of Christians meeting together last night at church. What Paul says is still so appropriate for our situation and for our time.
"Rejoice in the Lord always. i will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present you requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-- put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
If we all could just do this, our lives would be good, no matter what is happening. We could be above it all. Hopefully, tomorrow, I will be able to get back to normal on this spot. Remember. Rejoice always!
