R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts

"If your real desire is to do good, there is no need to wait for money before you do it; you can do it now, this very moment, and just where you are."
James Allen

Sometimes it's hard to know what to do. But if we always choose the good, that's a start. I often think, "if I had more money or more time, I could do more good," but that's not always the case. Often doing good is something simple, that takes no money or much extra time at all. A smile. An encouraging word to a friend. A card sent to your mom or dad or brother or friend. Doing good might be something as simple as walking yourself around the block and spending the whole time listing all the things you are thankful for, or it might be a much needed nap out on the porch. Don't forget to do good to yourself, while you're looking for ways to do good to others today. Everyone wins no matter where our goodness is directed. It's Saturday. Maybe you don't have to go to your official job today. Maybe you can go get a few spring flowers and plant them in a big pot. Whatever good thing you devote yourself today, it will bring rewards to you and to everyone else.

"This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone."
Titus 3:8 (NIV)
