R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts

Before today's blog ... I want to share some good news! Because of sponsorship money that has been made available to us, the cost of the Bootcamp (Go to www.midlifedivorcerecovery.com - empowering events) has been reduced to $99 for everyone! I am thrilled about that because I know money is always tight during separation and divorce. So, get a friend and sign up today ... seating is limited and at this price the spots will go fast! I am so excited about the event and all of the speakers. Hope to see you there!

"Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give yourself to it."
Gautama Buddha

What is your work? What takes up your time every day? At the end of each day, what have you accomplished? Those are not always easy questions with clear cut answers. For a nurse or a doctor, your work may be seeing a dozen patients with varying complaints from a fever and a sore throat to chest pain. But your real work is using your God-given talent (and training) to take care of people. If you are an advertiser, it may seem that your work is creating advertising pieces every day, but your real work is helping your clients be more successful. If you are a mother your day is an endless array of picking up after, feeding, driving around and doing laundry, but your real work is encouraging and nurturing children. Discover the real essence of what you do every day. Even though our "job" may be doing certain seemingly mundane tasks, our true work is usually something much more satisfying ... something that helps or enriches others. For that reason, it takes on a whole new meaning and it demands our very best effort.

“Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving orders, you’re really serving God.”
Ephesians 6:5-6 (The Message)
