R.A.D.I.C.A.L. Thoughts
"Always double the recipes for risotto and chocolate chip cookies; then share accordingly."
Normal is just a setting on the Dryer
No matter how bad I feel, here is something that has always worked to help my day move in a more positive direction. Do something nice for someone else. It doesn't have to be anything big. It can be a positive, genuine compliment to the checkout person at the grocery store... or a big tip to the guy who carries out your groceries. Or volunteering an hour or two for some cause close to your heart. Scientific studies have shown that altruism does as much good for the giver as it does for the person on the receiving end. I think we are made to help each other, and when we do, our inner self feels the benefits. I have never made risotto in my life, but I have made some pretty good chocolate chip cookies. The next time I do, I'm going to make enough to share just for the fun of it!"
"The one who blesses others is abundantly blesssed; those who help others are helped."
Proverbs 11:25 (The Message)
P.S. If any of you have tried to go to the website. It is still under construction. It should be fully functioning in a week or so. I'll let you know when it's up. I do have a "save the page" bare bones site that comes up, but I keep adding stuff so the Grand Opening keeps moving forward in time. Thanks. And, by the way, I really appreciate your comments.
