"Misery is a communicable disease."
Martha Graham, Dancer
Isn't that the truth? Have you ever been around someone who is (by nature) just a down, pessimistic person? It's not fun! You come away thinking you need a breath of fresh air. Going through a divorce brings it's own misery, at times. Especially in the beginning, it's just plain miserable. But we have to make sure that the temporary misery we are feeling doesn't become permanent. Try today to find every little thing you can that brings joy. The positives in our lives are so many they can't even be counted. Right now think of five upllifting, wonderful things in your life. Your sight. The color red. The fact that spring will come. Puppies. Enough to eat. All day long think about what's good today.
"Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God; watch for his works. Be alert for signs of his presence."
Psalm 105 (The Message)
